Located in the heart of historic downtown Keene, the Prime Roast café is a hub for the local community.
Sure we have great coffee but the Prime Roast experience goes beyond that, we strive for each encounter to make someone’s day just a little bit better. We are so happy to see our customers every day and we want them to know it, to feel it, to share it, to walk away with a little more spring in their step because of it.
Our mission is to provide positively memorable experiences.
A customer, let’s call him Frank, recently pulled me aside to discuss an interaction he observed between a Prime Roast employee and a customer:
One morning there was quite a long line of customers waiting to check out. The customer at the front of the line was buying a cup of coffee and the transaction was taking some extra time because the customer was cognitively disabled. Frank observed that the transaction and the accompanying social interaction were clearly very important to the customer and that the PR employee patiently, kindly and respectfully helped him before moving on to help the next person in line. The customer was beaming.
